Gallagher Cabin is a 1930s wood frame construction originally built as a garage but added onto by the Gallagher family and others. This building was originally constructed as a garage, with permission from BC Electric, for the person responsible for maintaining the Sumas Substation. Once the first tenants moved out, the Gallaghers moved in and this building was added onto. In the early 1950s, when BC Electric stopped running, the family moved to Vancouver and used the cabin as a hunting lodge. As of today, there have been no changes to it and its frozen in time in the 1950s.
