Bow Valley Heritage

The Bow Valley is rich in history and culture.  For the month of July, explore the museums and historic sites which help tell the story of Banff and Canmore – from the story of the Stoney Nakoda and other Indigenous people who call the Bow Valley home to the story of formation of Banff National Park to the story of coal mining in the region.  There is so much waiting to be explored this July in Canada’s iconic Rocky Mountains!
