The Archives Gaies du Québec, in English, the Québec Gay Archives, were founded in 1983 by Ross Higgins and Jacques Prince. Dedicated to preserving the memory of LGBTQ2S+ lives and stories, they hold more 1700 posters, 800 periodicals, 76 000 pictures, and 212 separate collections documenting the lives of queer individuals in Québec from the mid-20th century until today. Today they are located at 1000 Atateken Street.
