Starting at the beautiful University of Saskatchewan campus grounds you will find the Diefenbaker Canada Center with a variety of artifacts and replicas of Mr. John G Diefenbaker. Once you are done there, make your way through campus to the Little Stone Schoolhouse, Saskatoon’s first school built in 1887 by Alexander Marr. At this location you can see the Saskatchewan Children’s Hospital and occasionally a STARS ambulances landing on the roof.
Next stop .. off to The Forestry Farm House – a historic house on the site of the former Sutherland Nursery Station. A beautiful park area with the Saskatoon Zoo just a shop and a hop away to entertain the kids!!
Wanuskewin Heritage Park for a unique cultural experience as an Indigenous historic site as a bike path all the way out .. might want your ebike as it is a little trek. With a restaurant, hiking trails and a museum- you can spend a good part of your day here.
